We are thrilled to share that the members of New City Church have called Mark Sewall to serve as Co-Pastor from August 2020.

For the last 11 years, Mark has served as Senior Pastor of Grange Baptist Church in Letchworth Garden City. Before that he was on the Pastoral Team at Flitwick Baptist Church for several years.

This is an exciting development for New City Church, and the realisation of an ambition to grow our full-time ministry team as part of our mission to be a growing church that is inviting everyone to follow Jesus in MK, the UK and beyond.

Mark will be serving alongside Lead Pastor Richard Wardman, who has just completed his seventh year of leading the church, as well as the existing team of elders.

The present situation with COVID-19 makes the practicalities of moving and starting a new ministry somewhat complex, but we are all trusting the Lord to provide and lead us ahead. We would value your prayers for all this.

The Sewall Family

(Left to Right) Meredith, George, Catrin, Louise, Laura, Mark, Lucy, Eleri

Please pray for Mark & Louise, along with their six children – Laura, Catrin, George, Lucy, Eleri and Meredith – as they prepare to move to MK, especially that the Lord would provide school places for the youngest two children going into Year 10 and 12 respectively.

God-willing, they will move in early July and Mark will begin his ministry in August.

Also, please pray for Grange Baptist Church as begin a period of transition and searching for a new Pastor.

And please pray that the Lord Jesus would bless this move and give us the joy of seeing his kingdom advancing in Milton Keynes as many come to faith in Him.

Soli Deo Gloria.
